This wine was made with handpicked fruit from the Crabtree Estate Old Well block or Windmill Vineyard.
The wine was open fermented in 2 tonne vats, gently hand plunged and basket pressed. It was then aged in one and two year old French barriques for 18 months.

Winery Tasting Notes
The 2010 Watervale Cabernet is fragrant and lifted with violets and sweet black current fruit.
Fine grained tannins coat the palate and deliver grip.
While accessible as a young wine in the first year of release this finely balanced Cabernet will develop gracefully for 6 - 8 years.
Decant before serving. A perfect match with Clare Valley Saltbush Lamb roast served with winter greens
and homemade mint sauce.
