Winery Profile

The Château Léoube is steeped in history and is set in a beautiful location on the Cotes de Provence Appellation. Meticulous care is given to the vines and land where environmental and organic philosophy is lovingly followed.

“To produce the best from what the land can give you with great affection and care…”

This is the owners motto. Owners of Domaine de Léoube for the last ten years, which has 560 hectares including 65 of vineyards and 20 of olive grove devoted to growing vines and olives in one of Europe's most beautiful protected sites.

Ambassadors for an environmentally friendly approach to farming that they'd already endorsed more than twenty-five years ago in the UK - particularly via their Daylesford Organic – they quickly learned how to watch over this fertile land with care and respect, with the help of their enthusiastic winery manager.

In tune with lunar and seasonal cycles, he helped them bring traditional farming methods back to life, which commit Léoube’s wines to sustainable, and promising progress.

Guardians of a back-to-basics philosophy that doesn't deplete the land but, quite the opposite by not using any destructive treatments, strengthens its biodiversity and natural defences; the British family owners have hence orchestrated the rebirth of this favoured land, which the Medieval château, restored to its original state, bears witness to. This mark of its ancestors is a beacon for present and future plans…
