This Pinot Noir is packed with complex cool climate flavours that gently unfold on the tongue and finish with a velvety, sensuous embrace that lingers until the next sip. From a tough vintage this is a stand out and possibly the best I’ve ever achieved!

Winery Tasting Notes
The appearance is a bright crimson, cherry red with subtle hints of earthy brick red.
The bouquet opens with ripe strawberries dipped in chocolate, followed by cedar wood, exotic earthy spices and smoked meats. It’s rich and enticing with a sophisticated edge.
The palate is surprisingly full bodied after the initial burst of ripe strawberry fruit. The savoury flavours of oak and smoked meats add weight and dimension from the middle right through to the long, smooth finish. In typical cool climate Pinot Noir style it has a silky smooth aftertaste.
Pinot Noir is my all time favourite variety and I love to serve this wine with my secret recipe Duck and mushroom risotto with truffle oil and shaved parmesan. Its savoury characters are ideal with robust full flavoured dishes.
Pinot Noir has extraordinary cellaring potential, this wine will continue to develop for over 10 years, constantly evolving and offering a new surprise every time you open a bottle. Screw cap closure will keep it in perfect condition for years beyond.
