The Blanc de Blancs is elaborated with Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs where the wines develop delicate aromas, wonderful structure and body.
This pure Chardonnay is a blend of Premiers and Grands Crus, all from the Côte des Blancs, each bringing its own personality (floral for Chouilly, more mineral for Le Mesnil sur Oger, powerful from Cramant, rounder for Vertus, etc.).
In addition to their marvellous elegance and typicity, these great Chardonnays develop during maturation the body and length needed to create a Blanc de Blancs with character.

"Freshness and maturity, and a lovely, creamy, white mousse. Of real quality and interest in the mouse. Impeccable." The finest wines of Champagne, Michael Edwards (UK), 2009
The grapes come from one single year and originate from Cuis, Cramant, Vertus, Chouilly and Le Mesnil. A beautiful champagne with a lovely mousse and ochre-yellow colour. A romantic nose of summer flowers and vanilla. Broad, likeable, buttery style. Richard Juhlin, (APR/2013)
Some complexity with freshness and finesse. Good balance, some richness. A satisfying, rich and complex wine. Drink 2008. (16.2 points)Recommended - Decanter, 6 November 2009
Winery Tasting Notes
A pale gold robe with green tints and very fine and regular bubbles.
A fine, floral nose with aromas of toasted bread, hawthorn and honey.
In the mouth a silky texture, at the same time full flavoured and elegant. Intense aromas of hazelnut, grapefruit and toast are supported by mineral nuances. The finish has a great delicacy and length.
This Champagne is the ideal aperitif. Its maturity and breadth mean that it can also be paired with meat, poultry and grilled fish.
