Hand tended Bridgewater Mill vineyards in the Adelaide Hills produce premium chardonnay fruit from the warmer fringes to the coolest valleys on a variety of soil types.
Initial citrus aromas develop hints of peach with a very subtle nutty oak backbone. Summer stone fruit shines through on the palate with notes of apple and pear developing in the glass.

Straw-green; the fragrant bouquet introduces an immaculately structured and balanced wine, with nectarine, white peach and citrus/grapefruit seamlessly welded with subtle French oak and minerally acidity, the finish long and fresh.
Rating 94 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2013
Well made and finely balanced, this savoury, mediumweight chardonnay has a pungent, rather meaty and leesy bouquet whose buttery aromas of melon, lemon and custard precede a long, creamy palate whose restrained fruit and nutty, mealy complexity are neatly paired with fresh oak and punctuated by a fresh, almost brittle acidity. Winery Tasting Notes
A brilliant straw colour, with a fresh, lively green tinge.
The wine displays citrus, minerally fruit and hints of peach, combined with subtle integrated oak, and a lovely long finish. Varietal, cool climate Chardonnay fruit is dominant, with complex winemaking contributing, producing an excellent example of this wonderfully focussed yet complex cool climate wine.
