Overview

A warm and dry season allowed Black Cottage to select from special parcels with ideal growing conditions for this fragrant cool climate Pinot Noir. 50% handpicked fruit, gently destemmed into tank, cold soaked for 7 days prior to fermentation, 100% stainless steel fermentation, hand plunged 4 times per day lifting a fine perfume and soft red berry fruit. Aged in 15% new and seasoned French barrels for 10 months, light egg white fining and filtration before bottling.

Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma

This succulent Pinot has aromas of strawberries and raspberries with fl oral undertones.

Palate

The palate is medium bodied, soft and supple with fine lingering tannins. A lush wine that is distinct and proud of its new world origins. Its purity and finesse area compliment to the hard work in the vineyard and soft approach in the cellar.

Dangerously drinkable.
