The Ebenezer range pays tribute to the many generations of growers who have painstakingly nurtured their vineyards through good years and bad since settlement. Without their persistence and strength many of the great vineyards of the Barossa Valley would be lost today. Remember, we use parcels of Shiraz that only just miss out on E&E and the Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the best vineyards.

Winery Tasting Notes
The fruit for this wine was sourced from up to 50 year old vines from the northern part of the Barossa Valley. The wine has fantastic richness and generosity due to the low cropping level from this year. To add to the longevity of this wine, it has been matured in French and American barriques for 24 months and further bottle aged for 18 months prior to release.
Vibrant deep red with a purple hue.
There are intense aromas of blackberry and blueberry fruits, liquorice and dark chocolate.
The nose leads to a layered palate of blackberries and savoury spices. A concentrated mid-palate is balanced by a fine, elegant finish. A great example of Barossa Valley Shiraz.
This elegant 2008 vintage should be enjoyed on special occasions, and allow you to cellar for 10 years or more.
Perfectly matched with Mediterranean lamb dishes.
