100% Tempranillo. In stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 12 days plus other 10 days for the maceration. A young, lightly oaked wine. 6 months in French oak barrels.
- IMPORTED - Spain
The 2010 Capitoso sees six months in French oak. It offers an uncomplicated bouquet of dark berries, tar and balsamic with a touch more class than the Dominio de Heredia. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp cherry fruit on the entry and a foursquare, structured, off-dry finish that needs to be partnered with food. Drink now-2014. Winery Tasting Notes
Intense garnet red with purple and violet glints. Clean and brilliant. Medium intensity of colour.
Fresh fruits with an elegant touch from the French oak casks. It is a very fruity wine that evokes the Tempranillo variety in aromas like red fruit, blackberry, blackberry bush, redcurrant and notes of liquorice.
Fresh, young, intense and nice. Well structured acidity with red fruits. Expressive and very well balanced.
This wine can be paired with the most casual food because it has enough body for any kind of meat, but it is also subtle for smoother meals. It combines with any pasta, salad and vegetables, as well as starters and meat in general.
