Suitable for Off Premise
The palate has a wonderful mineral centre surrounded by layers of complexity from the wild fermentation. Subtle use of seasoned French oak casks on a portion of the blend has added further weight and complexity. It finishes with a crisp fresh snap.

Winery Tasting Notes
Bright lemon-green in colour.
The wine shows fresh aromas of tomato bush and freshly picked herbs, with a hint of soft and rich tropical fruit notes.
On the palate the wine shows complex and intense flavours of mineral, tropical fruit, a hint of spiciness. The sharp, crisp acidity gives a great structure and a lingering, delicious finish.
This premium Sauvignon Blanc is a single-vineyard wine sourced from our own sustainably managed vineyard at “Cravens Road” in Marlborough’s famous Wairau Valley. The grapes were picked at a range of ripeness levels for optimum flavour and complexity.
We separated the main block into a number of zones and varied the amount of leaf plucking in each. This directly affects the fruit’s flavour and composition, with more exposure to the Marlborough sun leading to riper, more tropical flavours. The grapes for Cravens Creek are some of the first to come into the winery each year and typically exhibit bright acidity.
