Our Prestige Single Vineyard range of wines are produced from our best estate grown grapes and reflect low yield vines and meticulous viticulture. Special attention in the cellar in terms of handling, employing high tech and traditional methods, result in these elegant wines of limited production.
After pressing, the wine was chilled and allowed to settle over a 24hr period. The wine was then racked, inoculated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures for 15-20 days, then matured in old oak barrels for 10 months with regular lees stirring.

Winery Tasting Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc is a powerful wine, giving fresh cut hay and a hint of sweat on the nose.
Beautiful passionfruit and lemon citrus flavours contribute to the rich concentrated palate. Maturation in old French oak barrels and regular battonage creates complexity and creaminess that dances along with the typical Marlborough acidity, leading to a lingering finish.
There are many occasions to enjoy The Moorlands Sauvignon Blanc 2010, either as an aperitif, on its own or accompanied by seafood or salad dishes. Serve lightly chilled.
