Pungent and slightly funky with aromas of ripe green fruits, oozing tropical passionfruit, green kiwi, fresh guava, and a nuance of smoky oak, this is delicious and mouthfillig, complex and with a powerful, long aftertaste. Charmian Smith, Otago Daily Times 2014
Mostly handled in tanks, but a small portion of the blend was fermented in old French oak barriques. Weighty, with good concentration, complexity and harmony, it has strong, ripe tropicalfruit flavours, with a smooth, dry (3.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. 4 Stars - Michael Cooper's Buyers Guide 2015
Quietly exotic yet firmly varietal with aromas of sweet red and green apple, green pear, sweet hay, garrigue, citrus and lots of minerality dry stone. On the palate dry, minerally and flavorful the fruits suggested above have a spicy edge; a hint of crisp bell pepper, high acidity, sweet hay and herbs with a grassy texture. Nice wine. Watch out Marlborough here comes Otago SB! 4.5 Stars - Cameron Douglas 2014
