Amisfield Sauvignon Blanc embraces the best in old and new world winemaking. A wine of subtle power and complexity. A modern classic. Elderflower, gooseberry and cassis dominate the aromas touched by a faint whiff of gunflint from barrel fermentation. The palate is full bodied and dry with great intensity of fruit balanced by refreshing acidity. This is a serious Sauvignon that is ideally suited to fresh seafood or with artisan cheeses such as chevre.

Winery Tasting Notes
If you can imagine lying in freshly cut green grass while enjoying a picnic fruit salad of vibrant passionfruit and tropical fruit then you can envision what we have tried to capture in the glass.
The restrained touch of integrated oak combines well with the sweet fruit and flinty minerality giving the palate a lingering dry finish which will make it a great food accompaniment.
Although best drunk young, this complex style of Sauvignon is capable of ageing racefully. Will keep for up to 4 years.
Easy to match to variety of foods, try a pan fried firm fish such as groper and some spring asparagus.
