This is a classic Amisfield Pinot Noir showing the hallmark characteristics of dark fruits, leather and spice with an underlying hint of savoury earthiness. The palate is crammed with deep ripe fruits, fine grained tannins reminiscent of good quality dark chocolate and lively acidity to give the wine life and length.

Winery Tasting Notes
Any colour chemist would be proud of the colour of the 2010 Pinot Noir as it is deep ruby in colour with a bright and vibrant purple hue.
The aroma is as the berries tasted at harvest, great concentration of dark red fruits with the depth of a firm tannin backbone.
On the palate its strength is covering a suggestion of a bouquet of autumn berry fruit with dark chocolate and earthy undertones.
It has great length of flavour and on its release it will be a classic Pisa Pinot Noir and will cellar for 8-10 years.
Drink with rack of lamb in our famous Bistro, served with wilted spinach, raisins and toasted pinenuts.
