Ripe fruit flavours with nuttiness derived from time on yeast lees

TAS - Tasmania

Winery Tasting Notes

The 2015 Pinot Gris has a bright pale straw colour.

It is perfumed with hints of pear skin and stone fruit.

A rich textured wine showing excellent palate weight and structure. Ripe fruit flavours with splashes of sweet lycees, plus a level of nuttiness derived from time on yeast lees. The finish is clean and dry with good flavour persistence and lingering acidity

Food Matching

The weight and flavour intensity of this wine make it suitable to serve with quite richly flavoured dishes including steamed barramundi infused with herbs and lemon. Or try it with a spicy blue swimmer crab laksa.
