Fruit from the Adelaide Hills and, in 2012, from Coonawarra was picked during March and destemmed and crushed at our winery in the Piccadilly Valley. Most of the pristine juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion barrel fermented in one use French oak barriques.

At sugar dryness, the parcels were blended, and the wine allowed to gravity settle, before racking off yeast lees and a gentle filtration to capture all the vibrant Sauvignon Blanc character.

Expert Reviews

"Follows an increasing trend to a small percentage of barrel fermentation in French oak, working perfectly here to provide an added touch of texture and structure to its mix of tropical fruits (guava and kiwi fruit) plus a dab of grapefruit, the finish long and dry. 13.5% alc; screwcap "Rating 93 - James Halliday, Australian (MAR/2013)
