Winery Tasting Notes
The blackberry, spice and peppery nuances of Syrah have combined to produce a complex, fruit dominant wine. A small inclusion of the white variety Viognier (4%) gives the wine beautiful florality and makes the wine appear more accessible and perfumed.
The wine can be enjoyed with a wide range of different flavoured foods or equally drunk happily by the glass. However, red meat dishes, particularly those involving game would produce potential highlights.
This wine is made to be enjoyed while still quite young and medium term (2-4 years) cellaring is recommended.
