Josef Chromy Pinot Gris is harvested quite ripe in order to gain rich flavours and texture. The bunches are gently destemmed without crushing and the juice pressed directly to stainless steel tanks. The fermentation is carried out with a relatively neutral yeast to showcase the varietal characters.
- TAS - Tasmania
Attractive pinot gris, flooded with ripe nashi pear on the bouquet and palate alike; the finish is lengthened and brightened by citrusy acidity, leaving the mouth fresh. Rating 93 – Drink by 2016, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (SEPT/2014).
