Winery Tasting Notes
Attractive aromas of blackcurrant /dark cherries and chocolate, with a just a touch of “charry” French oak complimenting the quite perfumed fruit characters.
A medium to full bodied palate of ripe, dark cherry and blackcurrant that integrates nicely with the fine tannins, subtle oak and balanced acidity.
A lovely wine from an excellent red vintage in Clare. Good to drink now for such a young wine, but will take 5-10 years cellaring without any problems at all. Rare roasted lamb would be an ideal partner. Great value red!
