Barrique offers a complex medley of fresh stonefruit aromas with hints of tropical fruits and smoky grilled nut characters. The palate is seamlessly textured with a creamy mid-palate, leading to a finish extended by harmonious acidity.

The hand-harvested fruit was whole bunch pressed. The free run juice went straight to a mix of 44% new, and the rest to older French Oak barriques for fermentation. While 30% of the wines were allowed to ferment naturally, the other part was inoculated with selected yeast strains. 50% of the parcels also underwent malolactic fermentation. After having matured for another ten months, the wine was minimally fined and sterile filtrated before bottling.

The palate is seamlessly textured with a creamy mid-palate, leading to a finish extended by harmonious acidity. This wine is well-integrated and appealing for enjoyment on release, but will continue to develop further complexity with maturation.
