Overview

Brilliant straw colour. Lifted peach, pineapple and citrus aromas are found on the nose with hints of almonds and nougat. The palate is crisp and clean displaying fresh citrus and tropical flavours well supported by subtle oak nuances.

The Banrock Station Semillon Chardonnay displays lovely lifted citrus notes with lemon backed with peach and a hint of melon.

Palate

On the palate citrus and stonefruit characters of lemon and white peach are present. This is well complemented with some complex toasty flavours. A cleansing mineral structure gives good length and a clean finish.

Food Matching

This wine is a fine accompaniment to anti pasta, BBQ'd chicken and squid.
