Margaret River cabernet and merlot were fermented in individual batches before ageing in French oak. It was then assembled to achieve maximal complexity and aromas with the small addition of petit verdot. The complex lifted aromatics follow to a rich fleshy palate with good length and soft tannin finish.

Deep crimson-purple; why in this day and age mint and eucalypt should be proudly noted on the back label is a good question, for in the eyes of most these are not desirable characters. The question becomes even more pointed, because I see the cassis fruit and potent tannins as the mark of the style of a potent medium-bodied wine, and minimal (if any) mint.
