A cooler moderate summer allowed slow ripening conditions for white wines while retaining high natural acidity. Flavour development was good with a natural acid balance. Finished the season slightly cooler, resulting in clean, crisp and elegant white wines.

A wine of this price surely deserves some information on the respective contributions of the Semillon and Sauvignon blanc; lemongrass, fresh hay and gooseberry fruit carry the not insubstantial flavours of the palate, and the promise of development through to the end of '15. Winery Tasting Notes
Intense aromas of straw, melon stone fruit and citrus.
A balanced rounded palate of tropical fruits, straw and lemon citrus finishing crisp and clean. With 1-3 years of bottle age, the wine component saw some barrel fermentation adding texture and complexity.
A versatile blend, try freshly shucked oysters with sea salt and lime or with pan-fried snapper and asparagus.
