With a cool growing season harvesting started approximately three weeks later than normal. These conditions didn’t change throughout ripening and there was above average rainfall.Cabernet is one of the later ripening varieties and the cooler conditions allowed flavour development to happen gradually and build complexity nicely. The thick Cabernet skins were valuable to combat the above average rainfall and the cooler conditions suited the variety and it was considered the stand out from the vintage.

Very varietal with leafy berry notes and hints of dark chocolate.
A very focused and tight cabernet with layers of subtle blueberries and blackberries framed by chalky tannins that hold the wine together nicely.
