Crafted exclusively from Estate grown fruit, Taltarni Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 honours the winery’s international reputation for making superb red wines. Taltarni’s great legacy is deeply rooted in the unique combination of low yielding gravelly loam soils of its vineyards and the temperate climate of the Pyrenees, producing wines hallmarked by distinctive regional characteristics of mint, pepper and spice.
- VIC - Other Victorian
A fragrant red-fruited example of the variety, revealing its origins with a stamp of eucalypt and struck quartz; medium-bodied with ample firm tannins, needing a little time to soften and open up.

Winery Tasting Notes
Very attractive deep plum red colour with purple tints.
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon has an elegant, varietal nose of violets, blackberries and spice.
These characters are complemented on the palate by forest floor flavours, fine tannins andspicy oak notes.
