Grant Burge is a 5th generation Barossa vigneron. The history of the Burge family and their long association with winemaking in the region can be traced back to March 1855, when noted tailor John Burge immigrated to the Barossa with his wife Eliza and their two sons, Meshach and Henry.
The fruit was sourced from vineyards in the Adelaide Hills along with a small parcel from Eden Valley, providing a diverse spectrum of flavours and aromas to create a rich and complex wine.

Winery Tasting Notes
Pale, lemon green in colour.
Lifted fruit aromas of nectarine, cinnamon spice and a hint of almond.
The incredibly rich and creamy palate is indicative of the vintage all perfectly balance with crisp natural acidity. Soft poached pear, lychee and white peach fruits all dominate the beautifully textured palate. The extended lees contact this wine has received has added real complexity to the mid-palate and given the wine an extra dimension along with a long lingering finish.
A wine best enjoyed young.
Fresh seafood such as Thai fish cakes or crab and avocado salad.
