Parcels from each vineyard were harvested and kept separate upon arrival at the winery. The first parcel was crushed and allowed to settle over a thirty six hour period. The resultant juice was then fermented with a selected strain of yeast in stainless steel tank. The second parcel of fruit, was crushed and then inoculated on full solids with a very low rate of a selected yeast strain. The next day this juice was then transferred to seasoned French oak barriques for fermentation and subsequent maturation on lees to increase texture and complexity. The two parcels were then blended together after six months for final blending.

Winery Tasting Notes
Fresh and clean on the nose, lemon citrus aromas are complemented by typical Marlborough stone notes.
Crisp and focussed, kiwifruit and lemon / lime citrus notes on the palate are generous and full, finishing with typical Sauvignon Blanc acidity. The subtle oak is barely noticeable adding to the length and complexity on the finish.
Drink in its youth when this wine is young and fresh - now to 2014.
