Expert Reviews

The three-way blend of pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier is sourced from the Yarra Valley and Tumbarumba, and spends a minimum of three years on yeast lees. Almost devoid of colour; it has considerable complexity and depth, reflecting its age on lees and on cork, and also its regional bases. Rating 93 - James Halliday. Autralian Wine Companion (APR/2013)

White stone fruits and mushroom notes from aged Pinot Noir and Chardonnay respectively. Lifted fresh brioche type yeast from extended lees maturation.

The palate has great elegance of structure and yet expresses richness and complexity. Nuances of lychee, butter sautéed mushroom and lanolin abound in this bright and lively brut style wine which finishes with a fresh, crisp natural acidity.
