“Summer in a Bottle” best describes this zingy, luscious Sauvignon Blanc. Typical crisp flavours are mellowed by the tropical notes of passionfruit and melons, characteristic of Hawkes Bay Sauvignon.

Winery Tasting Notes
Gentle flavours and aromas of citrus, passionfruit and nectarine compliment the distinct aroma of gooseberries. A mineral character lends a Sancerre-like character to the wine.
The fresh acid is balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness. A modest alcohol level is a big plus for this style of wine.
This is a great wine to drink on its own or it would fit well with Asian style food or fresh shellfish. New season’s asparagus or dishes featuring goat cheese would be sensational match. Serve lightly chilled.
It will be best enjoyed while it is still young and fresh over the next two-three years.
