Bright, fresh and vibrant with a wonderful minerality adding structure and depth to an already classy wine. Fruit balance and textural weight on the palate and the crisp acidity make the ripe herbaceous characters come alive in this wine.

18.5 / 20 Points. "This wine is all that high-quality, fussed over, hand-crafted wine should be. Even for sauvignon blanc the wine mages a few interesting layers of complexity from the initial fresh burst of fruit to the lingering mouth-puckering finish, The fruit on the nose and palate is immediately and intensely appealing. Tropical fruit salad is a cliche for SB, but this wine captures the essence of this description with vivid arrays of aroma and flavour. It is the seductive mouth feel that underpins this initial appeal, however, and stamps the wine as a really classy example of its style. " Michael Ryan Cairns Post 21 Jan-09
Fresh prince of Marlborough Brent Marris is settling into this latest project with familiar ease and his trademark enthusiasm. Sourced from a cool part of Marlbourgh. The Ned brings a more subdued style: citrus and gently flinty mineral flavours are presented with a glossy smooth texture. Nick Stock QANTAS - The Australian Way Dec-08
Light and creamy yellow in colour, this wine is full of fruit salad flavours and it finishes softly with a smooth fair length. tiol Liquor News Nov-08

Hint of Greens.
Fresh, green, mineral, nettle.
Once again the site has produced some amazing fruit! Clean green and bright. Full flavour, great balance and a lovely long flavour with beautiful mineral characters the growing season delivered. The nettle spike continues to linger giving this vintage’s Sauvignon Blanc a lift this variety has become famous for from Marlborough.
