Overview

Hand-picked from our oldest blocks of Pinot Noir on the Martinborough Terrace, the age of these vines is now beginning to show a real sense of ‘terroir’. This is most evident on the palate where the older vines have produced a wine showing great complexity and depth that will see this wine age gracefully for at least ten years.

Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma

The 2011 season has produced classic Martinborough Pinot Noir's full of juicy red and dark fruits with a heady scent of spice in background.

Palate

The attractive aromas belie a palate showing serious richness and weight thanks in part to the above average warmth during the growing season.
