The Barossa Valley in South Australia is probably the most recognised and successful shiraz growing region in the world. Fruit for the 2008 Pathfinder is sourced from a single vineyard at the northern end of the picturesque valley, where it was picked at optimum ripeness to retain the full spectrum of Shiraz flavours and characteristics. The wine was fermented to dry then matured in American oak prior to bottling in October 2009.
