An earthy varietal bouquet then a penetrating palate with pronounced acidity, possibly over-corrected. James Halliday Wine Companion 2010 Jun-09
This wine has a generous, fleshy mouthfeel, with more blackcurrant on the palate. It finishes dusty and dry, and was seen to be worthy of the price point. tiol Liquor News Jun-09
92 Points. Elegance, balance, varietal and regiol distinctiveness… what more do you need to know? OK, it tastes like capsicum and redcurrants with finely textured fruit tannins and an attractive, long finish. Tyson Stelzer Wine Buiness Monthly Mar-09
Good wine…This tastes of blackcurrant, mulberries and leaf matter – and a touch of truffle – with assertive tannins. Oak is tucked in. It’s well ripened and well balanced… Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh Big Red Wine Book 2009/2010 May-09
