"I’m not that up to date with my Chenins I see very few a year, but I like what this offers up on the nose; tangerine or Satsuma rind, citrus, slight suggestion of honey and green herbs. It’s a textural wine, lots of character as it pushes quality vibrant fruit through the palate, citrus, orange and more honey. Then it rounds ount with excellent acidity and persistence. Can imagine necking this chilled with some seafood. Really enjoyable drinking for just over $15."Patrick Haddock, www.winingpom.com.au (SEP/2012)
Winery Tasting Notes
The 2012 Chenin displays citrus, fresh pear and green apple with hints of kiwifruit.
The palate is lively and fresh with pear juice and peaches. A delicious white wine that finishes clean with balanced acidity.
