The Kiwis have a better handle on pinot gris on the whole than their Aussie counterparts. This is a classic example from one of the country’s most reliable producers; it’s grapey, spicy, juicy, lovely. Max Allen Australian Gourmet Traveller Sep-08
A floral, pear-like style in which the aromatics faintly echo Alsace. The palate is nicely textured, long and balanced. Winewise Apr-08
Winery Tasting Notes
This wine displays wonderful perfumed aromas of pineapple and ripe pear with hints of gentle spices.
It has a luscious palate showing generous baked apple and cinnamon characters, followed by a lively, rich and harmonious finish.
