Shiraz is a great tradition in McLaren Vale and at Coriole, dating back to the 1850's. Lloyd Reserve Shiraz is produced from a single vineyard at Coriole that was planted in 1919 and the first wine released in 1989.
You get all the power and ripeness of the Shiraz through this beautiful single-vineyard wine which is officially recognised as one of the best Australian wines.

Grunty, grainy tannin and black, coal-like fruit. Long-haul wine. Super ripe but there's a cranberried freshness to the mainstays of leather, tar, aniseed and mocha. Almost nebbiolo-esque in its profile. CM - Australian Wine Companion, Rating 95, 25th July 2014
Winery Tasting Notes
A rich spicy nose of Christmas cake, blueberry and cinnamon.
The palate is full and savoury with a hint of homemade blackberry jam and pepper.
A traditional yet youthful McLaren Vale Shiraz that has the depth, balance and structure to age for many years to come.
