Shiraz has an emotional value at Coriole. Coriole's very first wine was a 1970 Shiraz, and since Shiraz has become the flagship variety of the winery, which we are quite thankful for: the wines are always superb, displaying fantastics dark berry aromas and great structure.

Light and shade. The grunt of blackberry, the sweet relief of raspberry. Both combine here with earth, spice and creamy oak to present a pitch-perfect expression of modern McLaren Vale Shiraz. CM - Australian Wine Companion, Rating 94, 27th July 2015
Winery Tasting Notes
A bright, lifted nose with plum, dark cherry and spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with red fruits, dark berry and cigar box. A structural wine that’s rich and creamy with well integrated oak and fine grained tannins.
Confidently cellar this wine for 10-12 years.
