This well-balanced wine blends chocolate, tannin and cigar box characters of Cabernet Sauvignon with rich berry fruit flavours of Merlot. A long, lingering blend, both varieties were sourced from South Australia’s Limestone Coast, famous for full-bodied reds, with the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes picked at their optimum ripeness. After ten months of maturation in French and American barriques, the complexities of both varieties are perfectly highlighted.
