Tatachilla has had a long love affair with Merlot, great food and great company. It was identified early that the Mediterranean climate, with warm and dry summers and wet, cool winters was well suited to the variety. The cooler sub-region of Clarendon is the ideal home for Merlot, naturally refreshing acidity balanced with flavour and length.
