Winery Tasting Notes


Deep red with ruby hues.


Plum and blackberry with hints of nutmeg and dark chocolate notes.


Front palate is characterised by intense blueberry and coffee flavours and earthy tones, the middle palate is melded with intense but extremely smooth tannic structure. There are some underlying cinnamon and cocoa aromas, while the finish is spicy, intense and lingers in the mouth.

Food Matching

Open one hour prior and serve at room temperature. Foundation Shiraz is the ideal accompaniment to full flavoured dishes such as lamb shanks or roasted duck.

Cellaring Potential

This wine has superb ageing potential if carefully cellared (15 to 20 years)
