Appellation: Côte Rôtie A. C.

One of the oldest vineyards in France, developed by the Romans. In the Middle Ages, it is said that Seigneur Maugiron divided up his land between his two daughters, one blond, the other brunette, hence the names given to the wines: Côte Brune and Côte Blonde.
