Expert Reviews

Bloody Good

... is soft, round and fleshy with attractive silky texture, rich, concentrated mulberry and bramble flavours and a neat balance between its deep-set fruit and moderate tannins. It's straightforward and fruity yet pleasant and approachable, so it would be an ideal restaurant red. Well-priced, too.Peter Forrestal, www.quaff.com,au (APR/2010)

Wine Background

In 1823 he became the first pure-bred Shorthorn bull in Argentina, introduced by British-born rancher John Miller, and marking the start of huge improvements in cattle breeding in the country. These cattle became known as “Tarquinos,” and they have helped make Argentine beef what it is today – recognized the world over for quality, tenderness and out-right deliciousness, just like this wine! Our wines are from Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes, where we have perfect conditions for growing grapes.
