A fine wine with ripe berry and dark currant fruit flavours, silky tannins and plenty of backbone and structure making this a medium to full bodied wine style.

Medium-bodied, fruit-driven red blend with just the right addition of oak to supplement the fruit and tannin. Has a leafy plummy fruit character on the finish. Fine ripe tannins and a nice supple finish. Rating 88 - Ray Jordan, West Australian, Ray Jordan (24/FEB/2011)

Dark cherry red with a magenta hue.
Lovely ripe mulberry nose, slightly perfumed and pointing to a rich palate
Luscious red wine. Dark berry and plum fruit really fill-out the palate. Firm but powdery tannins with great length to the finish. Well balanced nuances of new French oak but the fruit is definitely the driver of this style. Will mature beautifully for several more years to come.
2009 will go down as one of the best ever vintages in Margaret River. The cool and slightly wet conditions during the initial growing season led to some yield losses. However, the summer months were again dry and warm without any overtly hot spells. Classic “Indian Summer” conditions then prevailed through in to the autumn months giving perfectly ripened and disease-free fruit with some of the most balanced acid profiles ever seen. In a word, superb.
