A medium bodied wine with a distinct "lusciousness" to the palate. The green tropicals and floral notes on the nose flow through to the palate. The length of this wine is amazing.

90 Points. Has good varietal expression to both bouquet and palate, in a gentle tropical spectrum, with peine and ba rather than passionfruit. James Halliday Wine Companion 2010 Jun-09
"Broad, developing apricot/citrus bouquet…quince and apricot palate." Winestate (Australia), November 2008
89 Points. "A refreshing Verdelho that reveals a lightly herbal scent of guava, apple and white flowers. Its crisp, restrained palate of spicy grapefruit and tropical flavours is underpinned by a fine chalky chassis, finishing clean and refreshing with lingering spicy notes." Jeremy Oliver Wine Annual 2009, Jeremy Oliver (Australia), October 2008
Winery Tasting Notes
Pale lemon with a lime hue.
Beautiful aromatics of guava and pineapple with some citrus blossom coming through.
A medium bodied wine with a distinct "lusciousness" to the palate. The green tropicals and floral notes on the nose flow through to the palate. The length of this wine is amazing and as with all Verdelhos a slightly high natural acidity gives the wine added zest and crispness. This wine does cellar well and mellows as a result but is perfectly enjoyable whilst young and fresh. Serve well chilled.
