An opulent, richly flavoured wine melding the best fruit from shiraz vines aged between 12 – 35 years. The older 35 year old vines contribute about 50 per cent to the final wine.

A celebration of the attributes which have made shiraz so well respected, the wine showcases the quality shiraz fruit cultivated in Mitchelton's vineyard climate and geology. The wine displays a textured persistent finish, rare in a wine which is so readily approachable.

Described by Mitchelton's Winemaking Team as “a savoury vibrant expression of Shiraz in all its glory, it is a wine which melds powerful textures with polished and subtle flavours.
