Print Shiraz is a finely boned wine which balances the power of fruit and a delicacy of structure. Select parcels of fruit from low-yielding vines on the oldest blocks of the Mitchelton estate are harvested in small batches.

Winery Tasting Notes
Deep brooding blood red in appearance.
This wine opens with complex aromas of mulberry, cherry and christmas pudding peppered with spicy star anise, cedar and cocoa powder.
Rich, opulent fruits of plum, mulberry and strawberry marry with cinnamon bark, liquorice and clove overtones. These powerful and persistent flavours melt together with rich chocolatey mouthcoating tannins that will evolve and soften over the next 10-20 years.
Steady late winter and spring rains in 2005 ensured that soil moisture levels were maintained through the early stages of the growing season. Record temperatures during January resulted in minor crop loss due to sunburn. Ripening conditions during the autumn months were dry and warm, facilitating rapid ripening and flavour accumulation.
