The Enterprise Vineyard sits atop Clare's Terra Rossa Soils. It has produced all the Enterprise Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon since 1974. A great example of a Clare Valley Cabernet of great strength and texture. The wine fills the palate with generous rich berry fruit and great varietal Cabernet character. Fine drying tannins balance with the fruit weight and subtle oak spice.

94 Points -"Deeply coloured; a densely fruited, full-bodied cabernet showing luscious black fruits set against firm but balanced tannins and quality French oak. Cork permitting, a long life ahead." - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2010
Matthew Jukes 100 Best Australian Wines - "Kppstein’s top red this year is incredible. The aroma alone will rivet you to the spot with its dramatic brush strokes of plum, blackcurrant and mulberry. The palate shows the warm, dusty Clare soil off to a tee, never lapsing into ‘hot’ notes and always staying on the baked pie side of the track. You can sink your teeth into the oak flavours, they are so juicy – which all puts Enterprise in an orbit of its own." - Matthew Jukes, www.matthewjukes.com, May 2009
91 Points - "Mixed berries, dark chocolate, woody cedar and coffee oak all perfumed with eucalyptus oil and mint. Full bodied I’d say with plenty of tobacco oak mixed with fresh berry fruit - it tastes quite savoury and adult. Strong tannic impact and good freshness - a firmly structured wine for the long haul. Good finish too. It’s solid and delivers well enough at this price point." - Gary Walsh, Winefront, Feb 2009
Winery Tasting Notes
