The dominat grape variety in this blend is Mourvèdre which has a long history originating in the Rhone Valley and Spain. It is a medium bodied variety that contrbiutes fragrant characters of anise and fruits of the forest along with firm but velvety tannins. The Shiraz component provides plum, darak cherry and spicy notes, whilst a small portion of Viognier addes lifted perfumed notes and vibrancy.
