Cabernet Sauvignon was first planted at Coriole in 1970. Soils are terra rosa red, brown earth over limestone, which have proven to be ideal for growing Cabernet in McLaren Vale. The variety is produced in small amounts yet is always a strong performer which at its best shows a natural lift of berry and tobacco. Expect a long life in bottle.
