91 Points. Lovely fresh, floral style with hints of spices. Enticing aromatics. Delicious. Ken Gargett Courier Mail 24 Jan-09
4 Stars / 91 Points. Tasmania is an ideal place for this variety to flourish and develop a full array of rich exotic characters. Here there’s intense lychee fruit, distinctive and super-attractive, pristine: some lighter rose petal perfume too. Gentle honeysuckle and rosewater flavours; acidity sizzles below. Nick Stock Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2009 Jan-09
88 Points. Not particularly varietal, but does have weight to the fruit, and good balance; may well develop more varietal character over the next few years. James Halliday Wine Companion 2010 Jun-09
Winery Tasting Notes
Bright pale straw.
Vibrant spicy musk and rose petal aromas with hints of citrus.
Full fruit flavours fill the front of the palate. The aromas on the nose flow through to the palate with mouthfilling spicy, musk-stick and citrus flavours leading to a finish that is long, crisp and dry with excellent flavour persistence.
