This is a finer style of dessert wine more in the European tradition with lusciousness balanced by acidity and a low level of alcohol.

Rich, apricot-like botrytis aromas and lovely luscious, mouthfilling stone-fruit flavours - very sweet but has just the right amount of acidity to balance it out. 5 Stars- Winestate Magazine (FEB/2011)
This pitches into rich, luscious territory with plenty of botrytis influence. The nose brings juicy, ripe apricots and candied citrus aromas. On the palate it’s a mix of yellow peach and apricot flavour, delivering impressive sweetness and dense texture with enough acid to tidy it all up.Rating 94 - Nick Stock, Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2010
Deep gold-green; extraordinary lusciousness venturing into Tokay territory; candied citrus peel, cumquat and banana. Rating 95 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion Edition 2011
Unctuous and rich, oozing with honey, quince, stone fruits and mandarin, this is a sweet Riesling with a clean, fresh finish. Its ready to tackle a sweet dessert.Style, Tyson Stelzer (AUG/2010)
Highly aromatic with notes of melon, citrus fruits, grapefruit and crystalline fruits. The palate is sweet and pure with wonderful freshness, viscous, intense melon and citrus fruit, and good balancing acidity. Lively with a sort of spicy zip to it.Rating 94 - Jamie Goode, www.wineanorak.com (07/MAR/2010)
Winery Tasting Notes
Bright, pale gold.
Appealing aromas of ripe apricot and glacé pineapple that leap out of the glass.
Luscious ripe tropical fruits with strong hints of ripe apricot balanced by cleansing acidity that prevents the wine from cloying. The overall impact is a wine that is sumptuously luscious with lovely mouthfeel while finishing with a crisp edge that adds to its appeal.
